Two more shows could be leaving Channel 4 before the end of 2023 including a late-night talk show which has been on air four years and won two BAFTA TV awards.
These are not the first shows to have left the broadcaster's list of programmes in 2023, with Steph's Packed Lunch being axed by Channel 4 earlier this year.
Now it has been revealed, by The Mirror, that The Latish Show with Mo Gilligan and Hobby Man, which is hosted by The Last Leg's Alex Brooker, will no longer appear on Channel 4.
Gilligan confirmed in a post on Instagram on Wednesday (December 13) that the 2023 Christmas episode of The Latish Show would be the last.
Despite claims by The Mirror Hobby Man has been axed, Channel 4 said no comment about the future of the show had been made.
Hobby Man saw Brooker taking "some of his celeb mates round the country to have a go at some of Britain's favourite pastimes".
The show, which consists of one series so far, featured guests including Scarlett Moffatt (Gogglebox), Joe Wilkinson (After Life) and Joe Thomas (The Inbetweeners).
Mo Gilligan reveals The Latish Show coming to an end on Channel 4
Comedian Mo Gilligan took to Instagram on Wednesday (December 13) to reveal that after four years, the 2023 Christmas episode of The Lateish Show with Mo Gilligan - which airs on Channel 4 at 10pm on Wednesday, December 20 - will be his last.
Gilligan in the post added: "I can’t even begin to describe how proud I am of this show. It genuinely changed my life and has created an industry-wide impact.
"It’s won numerous awards and achieved even more nominations, but it’s the army of people behind the scenes that made it happen who are so important.
"There are so many moments that I’ll always look back on with so much happiness.
"From that very first moment at Channel 4 where they took a chance on an ambitious young black creative who just couldn’t find a way into the industry.
"To endless creative meetings with all the team at Expectation who all worked so hard to try and make something with scale, joy and game changing ideas at its heart.
"To every single production team member who worked relentlessly across all 4 series. The epic guests who gave it their all, week in and week out.
"To the outstanding Compozers and phenomenal MOcalists. All the excellent stand up comedians who performed on our Lateish Introduces platforms and the outstanding individuals who joined as crew for our game-changing Lateish Accelerator Programme.
"All the brilliant crew and staff at BBC Studios. My incredible team at my production company MOMO G who always push me in the best kind of way.
"To everyone at Channel 4 for continuing to support me over and over again and most importantly, the viewers - those who have watched us, shared the clips, taken part and supported us for so long.
"It’s been a huge privilege to bring people into my world every Friday night and just have fun.
"Next year is a busy one for me but I’m beyond thankful for what has been achieved and I’ll never take lightly the opportunity that I was given.
"I promise to keep pushing for more of those opportunities for the next generation of young creatives.

The Latish Show with Mo Gilligan began on Channel 4 back in 2019 and over the four years it has been on Channel 4 there have been four series.
Gilligan has welcomed some big-name stars onto the show including the likes of Tyson Fury, Steve Coogan, David Schwimmer, Jada Pinkett Smith, Zara Larson, Adam Lambert, Jimmy Carr and Mo Farah.
The show won two BAFTA Awards during its four years on TV winning best Entertainment Performance in 2020 and best Comedy Entertainment Programme in 2022.
The latest cuts come after Channel 4 denied speculation in June it was set to scrap shows including Naked Attraction and Scared Of The Dark in what The Mail labelled a "bloodbath".
The decision to axe these shows, The Mail reported was due to a lack of available funding.
But a Channel 4 spokesperson, at the time, revealed this was not the case and they were in fact in a healthy financial position having last year recorded record-breaking revenues.
