The site has a history dating back more than 160 years and has been a filming location for several much-loved BBC television shows including Allo Allo and Dad's Army.
The original property dates to the mid-19th Century when it was constructed as a private residence for the Lyne-Stephens family.
In the 1920s, the east wing of Lynford Hall was destroyed by a fire and the property comes with planning permissions for extensions to provide function suites, a leisure centre and retail areas.
The Hall passed through various owners before being purchased by the Forestry Commission in 1930 and was used as a convalescent hospital during the Second World War.
The property has operated as a hotel since the 1960s, from the ground to the second floor, with an extensive cellar incorporating a modern commercial kitchen, offices and stores.
The Lyne Stephens Banqueting Suite, with a capacity for around 450 people, was constructed in 1997.
The property is currently listed for sale by Tim Phillips, Covering Nationwide.
