Drivers were facing disruption as a busy road was closed in both directions.
Emergency water repairs near Wereham forced the A134 to close while Anglian Water is at the scene.
There was heavy traffic in the area between the B1160 roundabout and Lynn Lane.
The work is ongoing and there are now temporary traffic control measures in place.
