Tails were wagging as the door to Pooch's Yard - Doggy Day Care was thrown open to customers for the first time.
Thetford Mayor, Councillor Stuart Wright, and the mayoress officially opened the doggy day care centre.
The services on offer include day care for up to 50 dogs per day, a natural boutique, 'luxury' grooming, training, and dog photography.
The centre sports a nine-strong team to take care of the dogs.
The mayor was said to have been 'delighted' to see such a large turnout for the event, with many customers bringing their four-legged friends along to the grand opening.
The business also hires out their facility at the weekend for socialisation and private sessions, and hosts breed meet-ups to fundraise for charity.
Last year, the business took second place in The DogFriendly Awards in the Day Care and Sitters category.
