Two Norfolk schools remained closed today following an electrical fault and "severe flooding".
Diss Infant Academy and Nursery and Thetford's Norwich Road Academy are both unable to open to all students for a second day (January 5) due to ongoing issues.
The Diss school had an electrical fault earlier this week which has resulted in the loss of electricity throughout the entire site.
Jo Cerullo, headteacher of Diss Infant Academy and Nursery School, said: "The engineers are working hard to fix the problem.
"Pupils are able to access their lessons via Google classrooms or tapestry.
"We hope to open again as soon as the electrical fault is solved."
Norwich Road Academy in Thetford is closed to Key Stage Two children only.
This is due to a burst pipe which caused "severe flooding" and no toilet facilities for children from year three to year six.
A spokesperson from the school said: "We are endeavouring to secure temporary toilet facilities until things can be securely fixed.
"Please monitor for updates. Learning for children will be available online, via Class Dojo."
